That Saying, “Don’t Judge a Book by It’s Cover” Need Not Apply
Mamma always said, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.”
The very 1st thing a potential customer will do is judge your “book” by its cover. They will look at your website, Facebook page, Instagram profile, or whatever, and IMMEDIATELY make an initial judgement about your business.
You may be the world’s best dog surfing instructor (yes, that’s a real profession!)…but no one is ever going to know that if they don’t hang around for a bit. We don’t usually have the luxury these days of giving a face-to-face first impression.
That is why it is so important to make a good first impression online.
We tend to ignore or forget that which is not constantly in front of our face. Make sure you evaluate your business through the eyes of a potential new customer.
Make sure your “cover” is presentable and give yourself the best chance that they will turn the page and keep reading!
